Taking it Back to the Nautical!

Wow! What an amazing weekend of taking racing back to the Nautical Beachfront Resort at the season opener of the Hydro-Turf Jet Jam Racing Tour presented by Bud Light and River Rat Motorsports. This venue was a spectator’s dream with its bird’s eye views of racing at its finest. There was also a view of the fire that raged though Body Beach on the anniversary of last years fire during our race at Rotary Beach. I have to admit, it made for awesome one of kind photos. Huge thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of this historical race event. It feels great to be back racing at this venue.

On Friday, we held a beginner training class for the first time that really proved to be beneficial to our new beginner riders. They learned what all the flags and signals are along with practicing starts and learning the course. Special thank you to Matt Goede and the Red Shirt Crew for making this happen.

Congratulations to all the racers who placed in their classes and made it to the podium. There was some insane racing on this course. One in particular that stands out was the #242 Preston Matzdorf passing the #72 Aaron Geweke on the log jump to claim his #2 spot on the podium. This, definitely was the money shot of the weekend. Thank you to TC Freeride for throwing in some awesome cash prizes for multiple classes, Skat Trak for their gift certificates and Kommander Industries for some awesome gear giveaways, just to name a few. These prizes are much appreciated by the riders.

I would like to make a huge shout out to the Jet Jam Red Shirt Crew for all their help and hard work!! Without this crew none of this would be possible.
